This is my first Cuisinart appliance and I know of their good reputation. I found on receiving the package; the instructions are easy to follow. Setting the clock was easy; and it does make great coffee. I have found many of the coffee makers I have had through the years didn't keep the coffee hot enough, well for me. This one does! Also has an automatic shut-off. I recommend this product.
